The amount of salt intake among cancer patients has been a source of debate ever since it was discovered that sodium can be deadly. My doctor always recommends healthy fish recipes contain only minuscule amount of table salt. I had asked him the difference between the common salt we use and the salt that's supposed to help cure cancer. He said, there's obviously a huge discrepancy, since the kind of salt cure that cancer patients take comes from sea - unrefined and contains trace minerals that balance the alkaline and acid levels in the body.

My doctor is still experimenting on salt cure. He's looking at Danival, which is sealed in what looks like a plastic sugar bag that has the word Sel Marin printed on it. The sea salt, according to him, contained all the natural minerals as well as trace elements that cancer patients need. The process involved clay pan harvesting and traditional methods, which made it look as if it was another specie of brown sugar. It was, in fact, light grey and a little too coarse to be mistaken as sugar.

Because of the debates on the salt cure, it is only natural for patients to balk at the thought of including sea salt in their diets. They don't really know that salt derived from the ocean allows more water circulation in the body. Remember that cancer develops from tumors and edema in the body which may be caused by accumulated toxic substances, e.g., the gallstones. Sea salt can flush away the poison in the body through proper circulation and breakdown of food. This is something that ordinary table salt cannot do. As for the Sel Marin, I'll have to consult with my doctor first.

There are many uses of salt. Generally, salt is used to make the food tastier. It can also be used for preservatives. But too much salt is a no, no for everyone. And if you enjoy eating salty foods, you should check if your delight is still helpful to your body. It's because too much salt can bring you to cancer of stomach.
Based on study, there are a number of patients with stomach cancer in Japan. The cause of cancer
is linked to a high level of salt in their diet. Eating too much of salt may lead to atrophic gastritis, which can draw to cancer of stomach. Contrary, British people prefer to eat low salted and pickled food.
Thus, the incidence of stomach cancer in UK has been declining since 1930. In addition, high-salt diet can also cause high blood pressure and increases the threat of heart attack as well as stroke. And to avoid excessive salt, do not add more salt to your meal than the required amount. And, choose to eat fresh cooked foods rather than pre-packed meals.

Most of today's deadly diseases like HIV do not yet have a permanent cure. The same is true with cancer. As part of the prevention and remedy measures against the illness, many cancer patients or those people who are suspected of cancer are required by medical experts to undergo a certain diet.
For individuals with cancer, one of the recommended dieting programs is the seafood diet. According to studies, seafood contains trace elements or minerals, which help regulate the metabolisms and immune system in our bodies. Cancer is actually caused by missing or defective trace minerals and the foods that have these essential ingredients actually help in the healing process, albeit the curing effect of trace minerals is not readily noticeable.
However, for those who have cancer and other illnesses or sensitivities, frequent consumption of seafood is not good. This is because other diseases such as high blood may not respond well to what these trace minerals bring to the system. Salt content is a big part of seafoods and the intake of such may do more harm to the body and potentially deter the individual from being cured. As much as possible, these people should avoid the seafood diet, or if ever they cannot abandon the routine, avoid other kinds of food with salt.

Cancer is a devastating disease. There is no better way to fight cancer, but to prevent it from developing. Eating a balanced and healthy meal is one kind of prevention.
In a study of the European Cancer Prevention (ECP) and the Intersalt Cooperative Research Group, it has been found out that higher salt and nitrate intake can cause stomach cancer. This study is based on the hypothesis that salt can affect stomach cancer mortality and stroke mortality. The study postulated that the continuous use of high dose of salt can result to early atrophic gastritis, an ailment that can develop into a stomach cancer. In this study also, South Korea and the Peoples' Republic of China had been found out to have the highest value for stomach cancer mortality rate in relation with the nitrate. It is also proven that sodium coming from foods preserved with salt and from salted high carbohydrate foods like bread and rice fermented in salty sauces is associated with a higher risk of stomach cancer mortality. The study randomly selected samples from 39 populations coming from 24 countries.
Knowing the risk of getting cancer by high level salt intake, it is necessary for each and every one of us to be very particular with the food type we are eating. As I've said, prevention is better than any known cancer treatment in the world. Stay healthy and live a meaningful life!

Cancer is the uncontrolled growth of cells which reverted back to their undifferentiated state. All body cells came from a single cell which was the fertilized ovum. All body cells, therefore, are genetically identical. How come then that bone tissue is different from neurons? Why is the cardiac cell capable of independent movement whereas skeletal cell muscles do not have the rhythm of the heart? Why is it that the structure of skin is totally different from the cells of the liver? The answer to all these questions is cell-differentiation. During the development stage of an embryo, cells multiply exponentially. The genetic cascade of information, turning on and off at certain stages, programmed some cells to die while some are programmed to specialize. This cell death and specialization are absent in cancer cells.
One diet that has some significant effect in the treatment of cancer is seafood diet. Seafood such as fish, lobster, squids, clams, oysters, octopuses, shrimps, crabs and seaweeds all contain 72 natural trace elements that are essential in cellular metabolism. These trace elements such as zinc, magnesium and selenium can be found in salt forms in the seafood. A daily dietary routine of including at least 4 oz. of seafood serving may have some significant effect in treating early forms of breast cancer, prostrate cancer, leukemia, colon cancer, diabetes Mellitus disease, Lou Gehrig’s disease, arthritis and other diseases. The trace elements, in the form of salt compounds, help boosting the immune system in getting rid of the said diseases.
