When I was browsing my
dsl broadband internet for my science class assignment, I've read about the connection between mutation and the development of cancer. According to the article, most diseases spring from genes that have been altered during their mutation. These altered genes, in turn, can be inherited from the parents. A simple mismatch in the genes can cause life threatening diseases such as cancer. Incidentally, such mutation can either be acquired or inherited. Inherited mutation occurs in a person whose parents have mutated genes. On the other hand, acquired mutation is experienced along the course of a person's life.
