
The hard fact (or more like the paradox) of
having chemotherapy is that, while it helps patients fight their disease, it nevertheless drains them of their energy. The harder fact is that the situation is not always a break-even battle, and often, patients find themselves in the losing end.
This is where yoga comes to the rescue, that ancient Hindu discipline of proper breathing, myriad postures, and self-meditations to free the mind and expand the consciousness. While it is not likely to boast of being an ultimate panacea for cancer, it can help patients in managing their disease though.
